This is, of course, a very exciting and busy time for us. We’ve known that we were moving for about a year now, so it is great to be so close to the end/beginning. I’m eager to get my new home in order and to start looking for work again. Dan has already rented us an apartment and set up utilities, so we can move in quickly and be relatively comfortable. Our stuff is being airlifted, so we shouldn’t be without if for very long. Everything else we need will come from Ikea or second-hand shops for now. Of course, we’ll need to get on top of learning Dutch, at least to read it. We’ll be hitting the children’s section of the library I think.
After I fly out tomorrow with the cats, I’ll report back on how to trip went. Since getting the paperwork done for the cats was so difficult, I’ll definitely do a follow up report on that. Expect to see pictures as soon as I can get my hands on the digital camera again. Chow!
Good luck with the flight!!! I hope everything with the cats go smoothly and I’ll be looking forward to seeing pictures.
